Chalet Trailhead
The trailhead chalet is open 8 am - 6 pm daily throughout the winter season. The chalet is open only
for special events during the spring, summer and fall seasons. The log chalet is heated with a woodstove, has a changing room, and wax bench. Our chalet was built by MECCA members and volunteers, funded by donations and members.

Little Turtle Flowage Trailhead
The Little Turtle Flowage Trailhead is preferred for spring, summer, and fall trail use. You can access more of the trail system when conditions are wet.
Directions: To get to the Little Turtle Flowage Trailhead, take US Highway 51 to County Trunk Highway FF (about one mile north of Mercer, turn at the Cranberry Inn). Take FF west about one mile to Popko's Circle East. Take Popko's Circle East south almost two miles to Joe's Shack Road. Take Joe's Shack Road east to the Little Turtle Waterfowl Management Area.
