Volunteer
MECCA relies solely on volunteers to operate the organization. Volunteers are needed to maintain the Chalet, support facilities and the trail system. Special events such as the annual Winterfest require many volunteers to plan and work on the day of the event. Normally when there is a need for volunteers, an email is sent out to the membership explaining the project and listing the number of volunteers needed. Volunteers sign up on a first come, first serve basis.
Meetings
The annual Membership Meeting & Election of board members will be held on September 16, 2025, at 5pm in the MECCA trailhead cabin.
Typically, member meetings are held on the first Tuesday of each month at 5:00pm. Members are notified via email of agendas, minutes, locations and date/time changes to the meeting schedule.
