WEEKEND TRAIL REPORT
Tonight’s grooming effort will be the last of our season since the spring freeze thaw cycle has become too much for our groomers. Since November 30th, the MECCA trail system has been groomed 98 times, with our last groom on March 24th. The Chalet will be open through Sunday, March 26th.
Enjoy one last ski tomorrow morning before temps are above freezing. As ski trails begin to deteriorate, snowshoe trails will remain open and are perfect for a spring adventure.
MECCA Trails thanks all supporters of our unique trail system! See you next season!
MONDAY TRAIL REPORT
Groomer was out tonight renovating the skate lanes. Skating conditions should be very good tomorrow, with fast conditions! Tracks were left in place, rated as good with some icy sections but not bad.
SATURDAY TRAIL REPORT
This morning Mecca groomers set tracks and combed the skate lanes. The skate deck will be soft today. Tomorrow morning the skate deck will be renovated and combed and should firm up nicely. Groomers will be out daily for the next few days. Enjoy our fresh snow and spring skiing!
TUESDAY TRAIL REPORT
Trails were last groomed on Monday morning. Unfortunately, warmer temps haven’t allowed the trails to properly firm up. The best skiing will be in the morning before temps are above freezing. We’ll report back later this week with any grooming action.
Snowshoe trails are in great condition!
MONDAY TRAIL REPORT
Trails were rolled, groomed, and tracks set on Monday morning after our latest snowfall. Temps on Monday night will drop to the single digits firming up skate lanes and classical tracks. Temps have remained below freezing meaning trails won’t be icy. Skiing should be excellent on Tuesday, enjoy!
