Latest Conditions

The Mercer area has been experiencing above freezing conditions over the last few days. Grooming has been halted but will resume Thursday into Friday when temperatures start to moderate below freezing; some light snow is predicted before the weekend. Overall, the trail’s base has been holding; however, conditions are currently icy.

The grooming team combed the skate lane this evening. Tracks are deep & firm with a few wind blown spots. Excellent conditions… watch the temps & daily grooming reports as the freeze/thaw are forecasted.

Mercer received an unexpected 2” of moisture starved snow on Thursday. Very pleasant skiing throughout, enjoying the nice glide. Groomers will be out this morning, Friday, re-setting track and combing the skate lanes. Tonight and Saturday evenings, skate lanes will be renovated and combed.

Skate lanes were renovated and combed this evening. A little slow from the recent snow, otherwise in excellent shape.

MECCA received 5-6” of new snow. Grooming teams were out early resetting tracks and renovating the skate lane. Tracks are deep, surface is soft, it’s still snowing. Grooming teams are scheduled to come out Saturday evening.

Weekend Outlook for Mecca Trails — the Mercer area is predicted to pickup a couple of inches of snow Friday afternoon into the overnight hours. Groomers will be resetting track and combing skate lanes early Saturday morning; Saturday evening the skate lanes will be renovated and combed; and Sunday evening skate lanes will be once again groomed. Conditions are excellent with firm, deep tracks and skate lanes with level, distinct corduroy, doesn’t get much better!

MECCA Ski Trails are in excellent condition. Tracks are firm; skate lanes were renovated and combed this morning.

Mercer got 3” of snow past 12 hours. Grooming teams were out Saturday evening resetting tracks, packing and combing the skate lane. Conditions excellent!

The Mercer area is currently receiving a forecasted four to five of inches of snow. Mild temperatures are creating fast skiing conditions. Groomers are scheduled to groom the entire trail system this evening, tomorrow skiing will be excellent. Snowshoers are enjoying the picturesque snow laden trees.

Mercer overnight received approximately one inch of snow which mixed in well with our existing base.  Tracks were reset and the skate lanes were combed, conditions are very good. Currently, winds are out of the west at 20 mph which are causing some drifting issues. Groomers will be out tonight and early tomorrow morning responding to these areas.
